Our next tour guide training class will be held Feb 2025

We are looking for energetic individuals to join our team and start their Lake Travis Zipline careers. If you believe you meet the qualifications below and have an interest in being part of Lake Travis Zipline Adventures, please complete and download the employment application below and re-upload your application in the submission box.  All positions will start out as part-time, and employees can expect to get at least 15-20 hours per week most weeks. Training classes begin in the months of February and May, and our season operates from March 1st through November 30th.

BOAT DRIVER

Responsible for transporting participants and staff safely across Lake Travis to and from the Zip Line course and beach area.

Drivers must be personable and have good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively on two way radios. A commitment to safety and cleanliness is a must. Additional duties include some maintenance and cleaning of vehicles. Training will be provided. Boat driving course is required.

Must be willing to work on a flex schedule including weekends

CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

Customer Service Specialist are our front-line for all customers, whether it is on the telephone or when they arrive on-site.

Customer Service Specialist are our front-line for all customers, whether it is on the telephone or when they arrive on-site. Each are responsible for greeting customers, check participants in and preparing them for their tour, assisting with retail sales, answering customer inquiries, taking online and over-the-phone reservations, and preparing daily reports. Applicants must be personable and have strong customer service orientation. Strong oral and written communication skills, along with computer experience, are a must. Applicants must be comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and be capable of learning new software applications. Training will be provided.

Must be willing to work on a flex schedule including weekends. Minimum, 16 years of age.

Job Description:

TOUR GUIDE

Responsibilities include instructing and leading groups of participants through the zip line tour.

This position requires applicants to be comfortable working in the outdoors and at heights. Applicants must have strong presentation skills and be knowledgeable or willing and able to learn the local natural history, environment and ecology of the lake area. They also must be prepared to accept responsibility in real risk scenarios while calmly managing participants at heights. Training will be provided.

Minimum, 18 years of age. Must be willing to work on a flex schedule including weekends.

Tour Guides are responsible for instructing and leading participants through the zipline tour.
